The Atlas® TC229 tire changer features a rim clamp swing arm design with air-operated jaws and a powerful 5,500 lb. bead breaker. Unlike the TC221, the TC229 comes equipped with a built-in “Beadblaster” to assist in inflating stiff sidewall and hard-to-seat tires. Its adjustable three-position jaws securely hold steel, alloy, and aluminum rims, while included accessories such as a metal mount/demount head with protective inserts, inflation box with gauge, lube bucket with brush, and multiple plastic protectors make tire service safe and efficient.

The Atlas® WB11 computerized wheel balancer complements the TC229 perfectly, featuring static and dynamic balancing modes, rapid optimization (OPT), and self-calibration with error display for easy maintenance.
